Seven Days of Christmas Crafting

Today is Day Seven of
Seven Days of Christmas Crafting.
This little Santa can be used as an ornament or
the inside can be filled with candy.

I am sure my daughter wouldn't mind me sharing her
craft since we worked on it together.

We used a petal die cut from sizzix and used
various punches.

Hope you enjoyed the different crafts
this week as much a I did.

Happy Crafting and Merry Christmas!

Seven Days of Christmas Crafting

Today is Day Six of
Seven Days of Christmas Crafting.
I bought a kit at Babies R Us to do this
handprint of my granddaughter.  It is very light weight.
We had to spray cooking spray on her hand so
it would stop sticking.

Seven Days of Christmas Crafting

Today is Day Five of
Seven Days of Christmas Crafting.

I try to recycle whenever I can.
I used empty cans and wrapped them with duct tape (Yes, that's duct tape)
and embellished with ribbon and bows.

They make cute containers for gift cards, candy, or any small gift.
Just wrapped your gift in tissue paper or cellophane and place inside.

My desire is to inspire...Be inspired!!

Baby's 1st Birthday Party

Those who know me, know how I enjoy planning parties.
My daughter and I started planning this day for 6 months.
My daughter wanted a unicorn birthday party for her daughter.

Notice the unicorn horns that are ice cream cones dipped
in chocolate with sprinkled and filled with skittles.

Here is her high chair.
I taped the number and hearts that I cut out with my cricut.

Her first bounce house.
She played before the kids got there.

I baked the cake and my daughter decorated it
with a My Little Pony Unicorn and a number 1.

I made and decorated the rainbow cupcakes.

My daughter used my cricut and cut out the crowns
and glued them on the goodie bags.  She also diped
pretzel rod with white chocolate and sprinkles.

Unicorn plates.

I have magnetic boards hanging and I put pictures of
her on it.  Lots of balloons.

She just woke up from her nap.
Cute birthday girl.

A hug from a friend.

Lots of presents.

Mommy helping with the presents.

Nana stealing a kiss.

Rocking while mommy opens her presents.

First touch.

First bite.

Oh my!

Happy Birthday to our sweet angel.
Words can not express how much we love you!

Christmas is...Cookies!

Don't you just love the smell of fresh baked cookies?
Every year I host a cookie exchange party for my family and friends. We love to get together and exchange recipes and cookies.  Most cookies will freeze and can be brought out for holiday parties and gatherings.

This is my 6th Christmas Cookie Exchange Party.
Everyone brings 3 dozen cookies or candies.  And additional tray and tongs.
Everyone brings 20 recipes.  I have bags for the recipes to go into.

We go round and round.

We do crafts and play bingo.
I have a few snacks and drinks.

We fill our trays full of sweets.

Here are some of the cookies that we enjoyed.

Take time to enjoy the smells and tastes of the Christmas Season!
