Great Falls in Virginia

During my vacation to Virginia, I got to visit Great Falls in Virginia.
Visitor center included a guy holding a live snake.

Love the blue skies peeking through the trees.

My very soon to be daughter in law.
I think she could fit inside that hole.

Me and my youngest son.

Beautiful falls

This is January, imagine it in the summer time.

Georgetown Photos

Here are some photos that I took while walking
around Georgetown.

Starbucks.

Middle of January, is this part of the holiday decor?

My son's fiance and I found this walkway.

I enjoyed taking these photos.

I just love all the stone and brick.

Roots growing out of a rock.
I just found that interesting.

Got to love ducks.  They followed us around.

Posing for pictures.

This one was ready for her close up.

We couldn't let those ducks take all of the spotlight...lol
It was a rainy day but I enjoyed myself so much!!

Thank you again to my son's fiance
for being a wonderful tour guide!!

Georgetown Cupcake

I could not resist a trip to Georgetown Cupcake in
Washington DC.
It was just about a 30 minute trip from where I was staying.

My future daughter in law agreed to take me but
didn't inform me until we got there that she wouldn't
be able to try any of the cupcakes because of her nut allergy.

Here was the cupcakes that they sold for the day that we went.
Everyday they have different cupcakes.

Pretty showcases.

Hard to make any choices.

Cute bag.

My future daughter in law and me.

Signature box.

I tried to get a variety that my boys and I could try.
I really enjoyed the gluten free one, it was the only
one with a ganache filling.

Thank you to my future daughter in law for taking me there.
Sad that you were not able to try any.

Angry Birds

I asked my future daughter-in-law to pull over as we were leaving Target
so I could take a picture of these birds acrross this pond.

Notice the annoying angry birds.
Virginia angry birds I might add!

And as I walked over to the side of the pond
these other birds followed me.

It was a lighty breezy day.
They were hovering over me.  And all I could say
was you better not poop on me.

After a little cropping I got the shot I wanted.

DC Spy Museum

Just recently got back from a trip to Virginia to see my oldest son.
Took along my youngest son.
We spent a week of sightseeing in
Washington DC and Virgina.

International Spy Museum.  We took a tour of the museum
and went on a spy mission where you and other try to solve a case.
It was very fun.

I thought this spy gnome was cute.

Spy Rug.

Here are some spies that tagged along with me.
Soon to be daughter in law, oldest and youngest sons.
I recommend going there if you are in the area!!
