our granddaughter was admitted

to the hospital with MRSA. 

She was in horrible pain and

was running a very high fever.  The doctor said that

she would probably have to have surgery

 to remove the infection.

The presence of prayer began with a click of a button.

Whether it is was the click of a mouse on the computer

or the click of a buttons on the phone.

Our family and friends began praying and asking

others to pray.

Our granddaughter had people praying for her that

have never met her.  People were praying that have

never met my daughter or me for that matter.

Through the prayers of God's people,

my daughter and I had a sense of peace.

The doctors and nurses hands were guided.

The antibiotics started working and

surgery was not needed.

God was in control.

                           Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) infection

                                             is caused by a strain of staph bacteria

                                            that's become resistant to the antibiotics
                                     commonly used to treat ordinary staph infections.
                              This form, community-associated MRSA (CA-MRSA), often

                            begins as a painful skin boil. It's spread by skin-to-skin contact.

Ouch, poor baby.  This was quite painful for her.

This picture was taken when her fever was 104 degrees.

She barely moved on this day.

                                                 She was released from the hospital on 

Sunday, May 15, 2011, she is improving

everyday, thanks to much prayer and antibiotics.

Thank you Lord,

for showing me the presence of prayer

through this beautiful miracle.
